“When my child is born, I will reserve them an email or username for their social media”
Random discussions with friends of mine
One thing I realized about our name is that it is not mandatory to be unique, yet it’s usually similar or alike to other people, especially the famous one. And what is so difficult about it is when we are trying to create a username for digital platforms, whether it’s an email, Instagram, twitter, or any other social media, which usually our real name is already taken by someone else. That’s when the conversation above were happened between me and my friends, looking for a good name is not something easy, moreover if it is need to be unique. Hence reserving the username or email once someone born is not a really bad idea, in order to have “good” username that define as consist of single word from our last/first name, or from our nick name.
Since there are 1 billion “Fahlevi” around the world, that’s definitely not going to be my go-to username. Coming to the next step, which my nickname is “Levi”, then I would be searching for any word(s) that contain those words which I found:
- Relieve: To alleviate or ease discomfort, stress, or pain.
- Levitate: To float or rise in the air without any apparent physical support.
- Levity: Lightness or lack of seriousness; humor or playfulness.
- Levied: Imposed or collected (usually referring to taxes or fees).
- Levies: Plural form of “levy,” which refers to taxes or charges.
- Levitate: To rise or hover above the ground.
- Levitation: The act of floating or being suspended in the air.
- Levitate: To defy gravity and float.
- Leviticus: A book in the Bible containing religious laws and regulations.
and then this “Levitation” word really piqued my curiosity. and here is the definition based on Oxford Dictionary:
lev·i·ta·tion
/ˌlevəˈtāSHən/
noun
The action of rising or causing something to rise and hover in the air, typically by means of supposed magical powers.
I think this name suits me very well, relates with my whole life journey, how I interact with people, and how others perceive about me, which I might tell you later on how was it. And here we go, my online identity: LEVI_TATIONS
